昨天，一个同事突然说：“奇怪，怎么收到普林斯顿在中国开的博士班的邮件呢？”
“啊？！不会吧，普林斯顿也来中国开班了？”我一听顿时觉得新鲜感十足呀。于是凑过去看了一下，可不，人家还有像模像样的一张彩色照在那里呢。
不过稍微一回神，我就问她，你看仔细了，不会是那个著名的野鸡大学普莱斯顿大学吧？于是，咱们仔细一瞅，果然是普莱斯顿，而不是普林斯顿。一字之差，老母鸡变成野鸡了。
既然普莱斯顿的中国党羽们自己也敢到处发照片，我也就不惮于给他们在此立个存照了。哈哈。各位精英博士们，大家好！
当然，少不得和大家分享一下如何判断野鸡大学了。
首先，国与国之间的教育学位和学历互认是一种政府层面的互认，但是不存在跨政府的认证。也就是说，一个在美国被受到认可的学历，才能够是在中国具有同等效力的学历。而一个在中国被认可的学历，也在美国具有同等效力的学历。不存在美国不认可的学历，中国政府或者相关机构可以去认证（accredit），也不太存在一个中国政府自己不承认的学历，美国政府或者相关机构可以去认证。这是国际惯例。
所以，野鸡不野鸡，关键就是看学校所宣传的学位在其原产地是否通过了认证（accredit）。
所以，这个原则可以用来击破普莱斯顿这个全球和全美臭名昭著的野鸡大学（Diploma mill）的所谓受到中国驻美大使馆教育处的公证的谎言。而且公证一般只是能够公证文件的真实性，而不是学位认证。请注意野鸡打的擦边球。
在维基百科英文版上面有一段关于普莱斯顿大学的描述，摘抄其摘要即可见其一癍了：

World Association of Universities and Colleges (WAUC). WAUC is a school accrediting agency that assumes the authority to accredit other institutions, it is not recognized by
United States Department of Education nor by the
Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Abdul Basit was vice president of WAUC. WAUC accredits Maxine Asher’s own school,
American World University, and at one time also accredited Preston University.

第二段话还告诉大家，普莱斯顿大学是被一个住在巴基斯坦的叫A.B的人所有，而且他还联合了一个叫M.A的人开了一个世界大学联盟（WAUC），诡称给其他机构提供认证，但是这个WAUC并没有被美国教育部或者高等教育认证理事会承认。所以，WAUC发的所谓认证也是野鸡认证。WAUC认证了另外一所MA自己拥有的大学，美国世界大学，也是著名的野鸡大学。当然，WAUC还曾经认证了普莱斯顿大学。
所以，大家还要注意野鸡大学的联盟，自己给自己认证。所以，除了注意野鸡大学以外，还要注意哪些给野鸡大学认证的“牙防组式”的野鸡认证机构。
