这是最近一封从email我处收到的一个学生（alita）向我咨询该如何回复的学校admission professor发过来的邮件。
下面我从一个典型的营销角度来分析一下这封email：
Dear graduate applicants,
We thank you for your interest in our graduate program in Mechanical Engineering at xxx University.
We have received a very large number of applications for fall 2008 admission. Our evaluation of these applications is almost complete. We have had the commitments from over 110 students to begin their graduate studies in our department. We are sorry that we are not able to accept many good applicants for admission. If you have decided to pursue your graduate study at another school or if you have chosen another career path other than graduate school, we wish you luck and continuing success, and you may ignore the rest of this message. （典型的欲擒故纵手法，而且虚张声势。大意就是说我们的graduate program很抢手，已经有很多学生申请而且还有xxx人已经宣誓效忠于本校了，你丫的有别的东家或者不打算读研了，就闪一边吧。看到这个时候我们应该已经很清楚，这个学校其实还是“求才若渴”滴，除非你是已经有了心仪的选择而且宣誓了或者不想干了，否则你肯定还有机会。）
