Aesthetic Phenotype PRS
✓ 已验证5 aesthetic targets · Chinese population calibration · Verified pipeline
How your genes affect your beauty. VCF QC -> PGS Catalog weight matching -> PRSice-2 polygenic scoring -> GVM+NyuWa+WBBC Chinese population calibration -> cross-target composite scoring -> aesthetic treatment matching. 5-step pipeline covers collagen/photoaging/hair loss/pigmentation/barrier--not generic disease PRS, but customized scoring for aesthetic phenotypes.

To Beauty Seekers
Aesthetic Phenotype PRS is a genetic risk assessment tool, not a clinical dermatological diagnosis. It tells you the genetic predisposition of aesthetic targets like collagen metabolism and photoaging sensitivity, helping you and aesthetic clinics choose more precise plans. It cannot replace professional dermatological diagnosis, nor does it recommend skincare products.
Aesthetic Phenotype PRS is built on the VCF analysis capability of the genome interpretation report and can be used in combination
What is Aesthetic Phenotype PRS
Everyone's genes affect not only disease risk but also your skin, hair, and pigment metabolism--these are exactly the targets of aesthetic medicine. Aesthetic Phenotype PRS (Polygenic Risk Score) computes polygenic risk scores for aesthetic targets like "collagen loss/photoaging/hair loss/pigmentation/barrier function" from your genome.
Generic disease PRS tells you cardiovascular or diabetes risk; aesthetic phenotype PRS tells you "whether your genotype means fast or slow collagen metabolism, sensitive or tolerant photoaging"--two completely different questions requiring completely different GWAS weights and population calibration. This is not a relabeled disease PRS, but a customized score different from target definition onward.
Key challenge: current GWAS data is predominantly European, and East Asian allele frequencies and linkage disequilibrium structures differ significantly. Directly applying European weights to Chinese populations introduces large bias. DiVo uses GVM+NyuWa+WBBC three-database cross-calibration--more accurate for Chinese populations.
Generic PRS targets disease endpoints; aesthetic targets are different biological pathways--COL1A1/MMP1 for collagen metabolism, MC1R for pigmentation, AR/EDA2R for hair loss, FLG for barrier. Using disease weights for aesthetic targets is like measuring blood pressure with a thermometer.
A variant at 5% frequency in Europeans may be 50% in Chinese--different frequencies mean PRS weights should differ. GVM+NyuWa+WBBC provide real Chinese population frequency data, making calibrated percentile rankings reliable.
DiVo Gen²AI's Role
Aesthetic Phenotype PRS is the application of DiVo's four-in-one service L1 Source Code dimension in the aesthetic sector, extending the VCF analysis capability of the genome interpretation report. We provide end-to-end computing from VCF to aesthetic target PRS scoring--QC, weight matching, PRSice-2 scoring, Chinese calibration, cross-target composite scoring, treatment matching. 5-step pipeline core verified, aesthetic applications still rapidly evolving.
We do not do clinical dermatological diagnosis (risk assessment, not diagnosis), do not recommend skincare products, do not do gene editing for beauty. Targets with insufficient East Asian GWAS coverage are marked "needs validation". We deliver gene-level aesthetic risk assessments for aesthetic institutions.

Differentiation
Core differences from generic disease PRS and uncalibrated European weights
Custom Aesthetic Target PRS
Not generic disease PRS, but customized scoring for aesthetic targets like "collagen loss/photoaging/hair loss/pigmentation". Generic PRS tells cardiovascular risk; aesthetic PRS tells collagen metabolism genotype--two completely different questions requiring different weights and calibration.
Chinese Population Calibration
GVM+NyuWa+WBBC three-database cross-calibration, more accurate for Chinese--not directly applying European GWAS weights. European allele frequencies and LD structures differ significantly from East Asian; uncalibrated PRS has large bias in Chinese populations.

Collagen · Photoaging · Hair loss · Pigmentation · Barrier--not disease endpoints, but aesthetic phenotypes
Chinese Population Calibration
GVM + NyuWa + WBBC three-database cross-calibration, eliminating European GWAS weight bias
